Dutch Bros Delivery: DoorDash, Uber Eats & Order-Ahead (2027)

Dutch Bros is built around the drive-thru, so delivery is not available everywhere. In some areas you can get Dutch Bros through DoorDash or other apps; elsewhere, the best option is to order ahead in the Dutch Bros app and pick up. This guide covers where delivery is available, what it costs, which drinks travel well, and how to save money.

Delivery availability changes often.

Is Dutch Bros delivery available?

Availability depends on your address. If Dutch Bros does not appear in a delivery app, it is not offered from shops near you.

How much does Dutch Bros delivery cost?

Delivery apps often list menu prices higher than in the shop, then add delivery and service fees, plus a tip. Here is an example for two medium drinks.

Delivery app fees vary by app, distance, membership and time of day. Dutch Bros gift cards and Dutch Pass cannot be used on delivery apps, and delivery orders do not earn Dutch Rewards points.

Best drinks for delivery

Blended drinks melt and Soft Top deflates, so choose drinks that hold up over 30 to 40 minutes.

Order ahead instead

The Dutch Bros app lets you order and pay ahead at many shops, so your drink is ready when you arrive. You pay in-shop prices, you can use Dutch Pass or a gift card, and you earn points. See payment options and Dutch Rewards.

Save money on Dutch Bros delivery

• Order larger sizes, since fees are per order, not per drink.
• Check for app promotions for free delivery.
• Compare the delivery total with a short drive and order-ahead.
• Choose cheaper drinks like drip coffee or iced tea.

Delivery availability by area

If delivery is not available near you, the Dutch Bros app's order-ahead feature is the next best thing. See Dutch Bros hours to plan your pickup.

Why delivery is limited

Dutch Bros is designed around speed at the window. Many drinks, such as Freezes and Soft Top drinks, are made to be enjoyed immediately and do not hold up during a long delivery. Drive-thru shops also have limited space for delivery drivers to park and wait. That is why Dutch Bros has kept delivery small compared with chains that have large cafés.

Delivery and Rewards

Orders placed through third-party delivery apps do not earn Dutch Rewards points, and you cannot redeem points for delivery orders. If you are close to a free drink, ordering in the app and picking up is the better choice. See Dutch Rewards.

Tips for ordering delivery

• Order iced drinks with light ice so they do not water down.
• Avoid blended drinks unless the shop is very close.
• Ask for toppings on the side if the app allows it.
• Check the total, including fees and tip, before you confirm.
• Choose a nearby shop to shorten the delivery time.

Delivery vs drive-thru cost

Estimates include typical markups, fees and a tip; your app will show exact costs.

Our recommendation

For most people, delivery is not the best way to get Dutch Bros. Unless you live in an area with many listed shops, such as Boise, ordering ahead in the app and picking up at the window is faster, cheaper and earns points. If you do order delivery, stick to iced drinks that travel well, and compare the total before you check out. Delivery FAQs from readers

Readers often ask whether delivery drinks are made differently. They are made the same way as drive-thru drinks, but they sit longer before you drink them, which is why iced and simple drinks hold up better. Others ask whether they can customize delivery orders. Most delivery apps let you choose common options like size, milk and sweetness, but complex secret menu orders may not be possible. For the full range of customization, order in the Dutch Bros app or at the window. Delivery menus may also leave out seasonal items or food, depending on the shop.

The bottom line

Dutch Bros delivery exists, but only in a few areas. Check your delivery app, compare the total with a pickup order, and choose drinks that travel well.
