Dutch Bros Hours: Opening, Closing & Holiday Hours (2027)

Dutch Bros is famous for early mornings and late nights, but hours are set by each shop, not the company. A shop near a college may stay open past midnight, while one in a small town might close in the early evening. This guide explains typical Dutch Bros hours, weekend and late-night patterns, holiday hours and the quietest times to visit.

The only reliable source for a specific shop is the Dutch Bros app or store locator, which shows live hours. The patterns below come from published hour summaries,.

Typical Dutch Bros hours

Many shops in big metro areas and college towns open earlier and close later. Some rural shops keep shorter hours. A few Dutch Bros locations have operated 24 hours, such as the Flagstaff, Arizona, shop on Regent Street, which went 24 hours in 2017.

Dutch Bros holiday hours

Holiday hours vary more than any other days. Always check the app before driving to a shop on a holiday.

Best times to visit

Dutch Bros lines are longest during the morning commute and after school. If you want a short wait, aim for mid-morning or later in the evening.

Ordering ahead in the app, where available, can cut your wait during busy times. See how to order.

Late-night Dutch Bros drinks

If you are out late, consider a caffeine-free drink so you can still sleep. Lemonades, smoothies, shakes and sodas have no caffeine. Our caffeine-free drinks list has every option.

Does Dutch Bros serve breakfast all day?

Food is served during shop hours while it lasts. Many shops added hot breakfast items, such as sandwiches and wraps, as part of the food rollout, and about 300 shops will not have hot food, according to the company. See Dutch Bros breakfast.

Finding hours for your shop

Open the app, tap the location icon and select your shop to see today's hours. The store locator at dutchbros.com shows the same information. Shop hours can change with the seasons, especially in places with harsh winters. See our locations guide for every state.

Hours by type of shop

Weather and seasonal changes

Shops in places with harsh winters may open later or close earlier when snow or ice makes driving dangerous. During heat waves, some shops adjust hours to protect staff. Dutch Bros posts changes in the app, so check before you go in bad weather.

What you can order at opening and closing

At opening, everything on the menu is usually available, including fresh food. Near closing time, food may be sold out and blended drinks may take longer as broistas clean equipment. Ordering a simple iced drink or Rebel is the quickest choice late at night.

Popular early-morning orders

Before you go

The best way to avoid surprises is to check the app. It shows today's hours for every shop, including holiday changes. See Dutch Bros locations by state to find the nearest shop and how to order for tips on skipping the line.

Hours for food and seasonal drinks

Food and seasonal drinks follow shop hours, but supply matters too. Hot breakfast items are prepared in batches and can run out by the afternoon, especially at busy shops. Seasonal syrups and toppings are shipped in limited amounts, so near the end of a season some shops may run out before others. If you have your heart set on a seasonal drink, go earlier in the day and earlier in the season. Late at night, simple drinks like iced Rebels, lemonades and drip coffee are always the safest bet.

Holiday planning tips

On holidays, assume shorter hours and longer lines. Go early in the morning, order ahead in the app where available, and consider buying a gift card in advance if you are giving one as a present.

Why hours differ between shops

Each shop sets hours based on local traffic, staffing and its neighborhood. A shop on a busy commuter road may open earlier than one in a shopping center, and a college-town shop may stay open later than one in a residential area. That is why two shops in the same city can keep very different hours. The app is always the final word.
